Final New Rules Affecting Circular 230
Under "Circular 230," the U.S. Treasury regulates tax lawyers and others who practice before the IRS, with disciplinary sanctions for violations. These major new Circular 230 rules will apply broadly to regulate the form and substance of Federal tax opinions and tax practice standards.
