Hawkins served as bond counsel in connection with the issuance of $341 million California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank revenue bonds on behalf of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to finance a new museum of motion pictures located on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. Hawkins public finance attorneys worked closely with the Academy and its lawyers and investment bankers to craft a multi-modal bond indenture that is secured by an obligated group note of the Academy and its affiliated entities.
