Through her public finance practice, Alexis helps hospitals, national and regional health systems, governmental entities, multi-family housing developers and continuing care retirement communities secure tax-exempt and/or taxable financing to build new projects or improve their existing facilities. Many of Alexis’ engagements are as bond counsel or underwriters’ counsel on large, publicly-offered financings.

Alexis maintains a transactional practice representing governmental issuers, non-profit organizations and banking institutions on a wide variety of financing activities.  Whether engaged as bond counsel, underwriters’ counsel, disclosure counsel or borrower’s counsel, Alexis’ foremost goal is to support clients by providing thoughtful advice, excellent work-product and a “can-do” attitude.  From completing complex debt consolidation transactions coinciding with health system mergers to working to finance the rehabilitation of a housing community for low-income senior residents, Alexis enjoys the collaborative nature of the public finance field and the tangible results that spring from collaborating with passionate and earnest people.
