Hawkins served as Special Counsel to the Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority in connection with the development of an anaerobic digester and combined heat and power facility to utilize the digester gas to generate electricity for the Authority’s wastewater treatment plant. The project was procured pursuant to the New Jersey Wastewater Treatment Public-Private Contracting Act. The Authority’s 80 MGD wastewater treatment plant services 500,000 customers in southern New Jersey.
