Hawkins Elects New Partners

Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP is pleased to announce that William J. Jackson, Kevin Murphy and Jamison A. Sadlon have been elected as Partners.

Mr. Jackson joined the firm of Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP in 2004 as an associate in the New York local government and school district finance practice group. Mr. Jackson has been involved with various property tax-supported bond and note issues involving counties, cities, towns, villages, school districts and fire districts in the State of New York and has served as principal draftsperson for special State legislation relating to public finance matters.

Mr. Murphy joined Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP in 2008 as an associate in the housing practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Murphy served as an Attorney-Advisor in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of General Counsel (Office of Assisted Housing and Community Development) in Washington, DC and also previously worked for the Cambridge, Massachusetts public housing authority. Mr. Murphy has participated as bond counsel, underwriters’ counsel or disclosure counsel in a variety of public finance transactions, including single-family and multifamily housing financings of the housing finance agencies of various states and State-supported debt issuances.

Ms. Sadlon joined Hawkins as an associate in 2010 in the housing practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sadlon was an associate at a New York based financial services firm. Ms. Sadlon is involved as bond counsel, underwriters’ counsel or disclosure counsel in a variety of public finance transactions, including tobacco settlement revenue securitizations, single-family and multi-family housing finance transactions, infrastructure financings, and tax-secured and general obligation bond transactions.
