Ann Sherman
Ann brings decades of bond counsel expertise to her education, special district and municipal clients. She enjoys guiding issuers through the complex world of public finance and securities laws before, during and after issuance.

A substantial portion of Ann’s practice is devoted to general obligation, revenue, refunding, tax anticipation and certificates of participation financings.  Her specialty in education finance includes representing schools and community colleges in tax exempt and tax credit financing for a wide variety of innovative projects.  She has been a consistent presenter at the Oregon School Boards Association Bonds and Ballots workshop, the Special Districts Association of Oregon annual meetings, a board member of the Oregon Association of School Business Officials and the Oregon Municipal Finance Officers Association and authored the legal sections of the Oregon School Bond Manual.   Ann has been listed in every edition of Best Lawyers in America since 2007 and was appointed by the Governor of Oregon to serve on the Tax Supervising and Conservation Commission.
